Priyo Mobile
Priyo Mobile used to be a virtual mobile network that on the Everything Everywhere network operated by Orange and T-Mobile. It focussed on the ethnic market with a particular emphasis on Bangladeshi ex-pats living in the UK. It was launched on 26 March 2011 by Abdullah Ferdous and ran aggressive offers such as three £5 pre-paid SIM cards for only £10.
Unfortunately, Priyo struggled to gain a foothold in the crowded market and by August 2012 it was it dire straights. The network was said to be losing £60,000 every month despite having over 40,000 customers. The network was put up for sale and, as of now, the website and email servers are non-functional.
