Google Now vs Siri

Just a quick video post for you while we put the finishing touches on our full Android Jelly Bean post. In case anyone was still under the impression that Siri is a reason to use an iPhone, spend ten minutes with us and check out how it performs when compared to the new Google Now:

And if that weren’t convincing enough, check out all these things that Google Now can do:

What do you think? Which do you prefer? And would you ever actually use these features? Let us know in the comments below.

Even 5 years on Siri is ,in street language, totally bollocks.
As much as I like my iPhone their speech recognition is very bad, even with my dulcet tones 😛
Google Now wins hands down for picking up the most Scottish brogue.
Never any problems on that score

Good comparison video. I see 2 things you missed about Siri. For notes you can command Siri to create note and give your note without pausing to wait like you did. I.e. “Create note get more cereal” works and you left out that Siri also shows the sources of its info which is always WolframAlpha but non the less it always shows it source. I’m not a android user but I was quite impressed with its speed and answers. Good job on this video!
