Vectone Mobile is a virtual network that uses the Everything Everywhere (EE) network that is run by Orange and T-Mobile. As you can use the cell towers of both of these providers, this means that it has amazing 2G and 3G coverage across almost all of the UK. Call quality is also consistently great. Vectone has been running since 2009 and is owned by the same company as Delight Mobile. In fact, its service is exactly identical to Delight Mobile. They are both virtual mobile networks running on EE, they both run low-cost pricing models and they both charge the same amount for PAYG. AS well as very cheap rates for calls and texts, they also offer free Vectone-to-Vectone calls and texts whenever you top-up which is a fantastic bonus.
As for coverage, there’s nothing really to complain about. It’s exactly the same as EE which is about as good as you can expect for 2G and 3G signal strength. Their coverage map linked above will give you an accurate picture of the local signal coverage in your area.

No they dont currently offer 4G

I’m Hyde Manchester. No network lest 2 hours. What can I do?
I’ve been a customer of Vectone for about 4 years and apart from about 5 days of trouble this year have had perfect network availability and reasonable data speeds. Their prices are awesome. But yes it’s true the call centre can take a long time to access. Overall, Vectone are excellent value for money.
Bullshit company this network is fucking pissing me off
Shit network they keep changing their prices every month i would only recommend this to people who need to make calls

I agree with what everyone is saying. I swapped to vectone because it was cheaper seemed a brilliant deal, like the above the internet is pants, ive been watching a couple programmes 5 minutes in it decides to buff been sat here for the last half hour trying to watch the last 10 minutes of a certain programme if id known how pants it was I wouldn’t of bothered waste of time if you ask me. However I guess the sayin goes “you pay for what get, if your going to pay peanuts, expect a sxxt service and experience” if vectone dont sort it out soon im changing bk to my original service provider

I am vectone customer for Last 5 years. Yes, you heard it right, 5 Years. and thats my only mobile connection.
you gotta be clear on certain things if you want to move to Vectone, Lyca or Lebra. all of these operates similiar.
i am from india, gotta call my parents once in two days.
i have my siblings in usa, gotta call them thrice in a week.
have lots of friends around paris and germany, gotta call them when ever they give missed call. atleast 5 times a month.
hell lots of friends in UK, call them, text them daily.
and now, can u show me a network which gives
unlimited UK Calls, UK messages, 3g, unlimited calls to USA and Canada, unlimited calls to Europe landline for 15Pounds a month???
and regarding network problems, i live in central london, may be i faced 3-4 times all these 5 years.
and yes, 3G is shittty. but i have wifi both in home and office. so its just the commutable 1.5hours a day and i can live with this speed.
with my experience, never had problem with network connections or calls. my only concern will be the speed of 3g.

i moved from 3 to vectone because of the price. what a waste off time it has been. Vectone is so shit in every way. Call centre, phone coverage, internet, sim card has been cut off 4 times. I am now going back to 3. Vectone will never get off the groud.
I fully agree John. Data speed is crap ‘3G’. Customer service a joke. This is going to be a short contract.
I would think really carefully before going with Vectone.They are really cheap but data keeps disconnecting and just not a good device.

Hi I bought Vectone mobile SIM card because I like the new bundle I got 3 Gb internet I was so happy but hole month I could not used my internet I called many time on helpline they keep promising me will be work today tomorrow but they fail to solve my problem I give up I break the SIM card and throw away never se again Vectone mobile never ever v bad service I never see in my life ……

I using from long time with 3 mobile the interview 4g good speed, but network is rubbish, but now 3g increase the price from £15 to 20 now looking for another cheap network with 4g internet.

Absolutely varies,I have no set usage.
It is there when I need it,coupled with my bus networks wifi.

That much rubbish worse company signal stops almost 4 hrs each time and I can’t make calls data rubbish takes 10 mints to open Facebook pls pls people’s don’t waste your money or time then you will have just stress can’t contact costumer services no one will help you just reply by mail and stupid information nothing else 20 pound gone for nothing 25 pound on three network 1000 times better always internet where ever you go perfect you can use nav and music same time while drive all around UK never cut off perfect. But this silly rubbish vecton even not network forget to use data CAN NOT USE PHONE TO MAKE CALL OVER 5 hrs almost everyday I can’t meet my parent at airport to pick them up and dad angry took taxi to home cos rubbish network shows ok but not worked now again stop. PLS BE CAREFULL TO NOT RIP OFF. IF THREE HAVE SAME PROBLEM JUST 2 hrs they refund money or top up your phone free next month. Just wanted to change number and believed they are 5 pound cheaper and more mnts for talk but as a I said even if they give 5000 minutes free. You can’t use it cos no network registered shows every 1 hrs and not work 5 6 hrs. Silly sick rubbish company. Will go to citizen advise bureau for complain and ask for refund They make me sick today all day when I drove.

Why Vectone doesn’t have signal in central London??? It’s annoying. I haved pass from Vodafone to Vecton because it’s cheaper. I work in central London and i can’t use it because i don’t have signal!!!! WHY?

I’m just moved on Vectone mobile network and allready unhappy with this 2G or 3G. Even Lycamobile internet is 100% better then Vectone… I can’t use my facebook because I have to wait few minutes to open photo or picture… it’s sucks…
Well..1st time gave up with Vectone cs after 20 mins of music.But straight through the next afternoon, got my PAC no bother. Joined I.D was painless waiting for my sim!

yes with 3g you cant download apps or updates as it times out grrr lol
I’ve noticed it too lately which is a pity as they are great value but no good if it doesn’t work.

What appeals most about iD?
Hopefully the signal won’t drop as my girlfriends on it and much better as runs on 3.
Cheaper too @£7-50 albeit 1gb instead of £10 for unlimited but no goof if it doesn’t work.
