LycaMobile has been running in the UK since 2006 and is owned by LycaTel. Like Lebara, it’s started off being massively popular especially amongst the country’s ethnic communities and it has over 1.6 million customers already. Its call prices for the UK are very competitive but, as you might imaging, it specialised in cheap overseas calls. One of the best ways to save money with Lyca is by buying one of the international calls bundles which are great value.
As it uses Orange and O2 to provide its network services the signal should be good. Most people will be on the tariff that runs on Orange and this has much better 3G coverage. Especially now it’s merged with T-Mobile under the EE brand, the signal is about as good as you can get but check your local situation with the coverage maps linked above.

I have unlock phone currently using giff gaff …… I’m thinking joining lycamobile but where I live I have good network on 02 as well as vodaphone which you use both of these networks ……. my problem 02 (giff gaff) is not good for 3g so I can go on the internet so I’m wondering which network it will use

It does work on 3G, my phone is a fastcard tec note 3, a galexy note 3 clone, you have to wait about 48 to 72 hrs for it to aclamate, for data,
you
have to change the sms service center number four text to work. US, is
+18453010111 if after 48 to 72 hrs does not work, shut down the phone remove all sims for about 2 mins then reinstall, turn on and wait the 48 to 72hrs, some may be less.

the problem is you need both an unlocked and non 3G phone or calls cannot be made on LycaPlus.
on a samsung B2700 it just refuses to work even after picking up LycaMobile and showing it on the screen. A crossed out fone icon appears and says emergency calls only.
even Lyca C’Service gave up .
I live in willesden lane 60 a london uk and my coverage of lycamobile is shitt.
